| The Bicolor Leaf Photometer (BLP)
is an instrument
for monitoring chloroplast movement, built for Prof. Craig Martin.
The BLP illuminates
the subject with blue light (λmax =
475 nm) for a period. Then the illumination switches to red
light (λmax = 635 nm) for about 250
µs
where a transmission measurement is executed.
The complete BLP instrument has several components:
