Internally, the DRM contains electronics to perform complex
triggering to detect the pulse, to digitize the pulse at a
gigahertz, to time the pulse to about a nanosecond, and to transmit
it to the surface.

The signal is dipole antenna signal is split for digitization
and for complex trigger logic that we expect to reduce the number of
pulses seen by the antenna from a MHz to ~25 Hz triggers.
