| The IDL is engaged in developing a complete electronics laboratory that will, in conjunction with a PC,
provide an environment for teaching electronics for scientists. This project is sponsored by the Dreyfus Foundation.
Currently, the fully functional devices include a Digital Voltmeter (DVM),
Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) with programmable noise, a dual
channel Digital Oscilloscope (DSO), Voltage Reference Source (VRS),
8-channel 12-bit analog input system (ADC), a counter-timer module (CTM)
that can serve as a frequency meter or counter.
The block diagrams below described initial plans.
